Even though I understand why Calla did it, it didn't make it any less cruel :( But oh, I loved everything between Sabine and Ethan! <3 And... that character... who died.... *SOBS* Life is unfair.

I also sobbed right at the very ending... as you said, so bittersweet. I'm happy yet feel a deep sadness in my heart with how things panned out. But yes, so fitting!

Amazng review, Kathy!Brodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16389909407256668662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7440155126902938632.post-44278423498683046432012-02-23T09:04:08.441-08:002012-02-23T09:04:08.441-08:00I feel the same exact way. I feel a bit differently though, the ending kind of killed the series for me. I don't think I could recommend the series, I am THAT unsatisfied with the ending... Book Savvy BabeBook Savvy Babehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10670256728712530527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7440155126902938632.post-74843739182043954852012-02-23T08:20:32.127-08:002012-02-23T08:20:32.127-08:00Kathy! Everything you said in your review.. it fee...Kathy! Everything you said in your review.. it feels like someone just poked around in my head! When you said: "There is a death in this book that I didn’t really feel adequate for the character. If this character was going to die I wanted it to be BIG. I wanted a blaze of glory, maybe taking out a certain other character with them, and have it mean something. Instead, it felt like a easy out to a bigger problem in the story." OMG, right?! It felt like an easy way out for Calla! I was so enraged! You can't have both of them, Calla! You have to make up your mind! Oh, you did?! Then why the hell are you still fooling around!!!?? UGH!!! I wanted to throw Bloodrose out the window countless number of times. And what the hell was that ending about? All that shi* just so they could be turned into... xD AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!

Kathy, you did a fabulous job with this review. The reason why I haven't yet written my is.. well.. I would probably end up foaming and screaming at my computer about half way through - like I did just now. I definitely need to learn from you!!!Eviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05005719267056139440noreply@blogger.com
