*Exclusive* Tarnish by Katherine Longshore cover reveal

I have the great honour of releasing the cover to Katherine Longshore's Tarnish. The second installment in the Royal Circle series.

There is also a fantastic giveaway up for grabs. You can win a pre-order of Tarnish and a signed copy of the first novel, Gilt.

The synopsis of Tarnish was also released and I am so excited to share it!
Anne Boleyn is the odd girl out. Newly arrived to the court of King Henry VIII, everything about her seems wrong, from her clothes to her manners to her witty but sharp tongue. So when the dashing poet Thomas Wyatt offers to teach her how to shine at court—and to convince everyone they’re lovers—she accepts. Before long, Anne’s popularity has soared, and even the charismatic and irresistible king takes notice. More than popularity, Anne wants a voice—but she also wants love. What began as a game becomes high stakes as Anne finds herself forced to make an impossible choice between her heart’s desire and the chance to make history.
Now, let's unveil the pretty!

Stunning right? This cover really is quite pretty and I love the green background. It really makes everything stand out. I am beyond excited that it's Anne's story. She's always been my favourite of Henry's Queens and her story is fascinating.

You can add Tarnish to your Goodreads if you haven't already and it is available to pre-order on Amazon.

  8. Anne Boleyn is a very fascinating character for me. I'm a history student and I not only love the Tudor era, but I love the drama that comes with the stories of Henry's wives! Anne Boleyn certainly had more than her fair share of the drama, so I absolutely love reading about her! I really enjoyed reading about Catherine Howard in Gilt, so I'm expecting another enjoyable novel :) Not to mention how beautiful that cover is! Thank you very much for the giveaway!

  9. Ooh Anne Boleyn - she's a controversial figure in history. I do enjoy thinking about her though, and wondering exactly what went through her mind during her notoriety.

  14. Oh, Anne. My heart is breaking already. I've read several books featuring her, as well as watched The Tudors. Every time I go from rooting against her to rooting for her, then obviously having my heart smashed when she's executed. Can't wait to have my heart broken again when Tarnish comes out.

  16. Can't wait to read this version of her story! I am sure that Katherine will provide an in depth story with a twist. :) Anne Boleyn is actually a figure I know very little about (accurately) other than what I've seen in movies. (Time to Google!)

  29. I usually devour all Anne Boleyn fiction books and I'll be doing the same for this. I'm a huge fan of hers, being an educated woman who carved herself out a place in the world and managed to influence a change in religion. Big fan, can't wait for this!

  37. I honestly don't know much about her, but I loved Gilt and I'm really intrigued by this book!

  38. I'm a Tudor nut. I've ALWAYS thought she was misrepresented by basically everybody. She wasn't perfect by a long shot, particularly to her stepdaughter, but she was a strong woman with goals she was determined to achieve. Feminism! Plus she had a totally controlling family and Henry was caaaraaazy AND IT WAS A FRAME JOB. :D
