Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends. This weeks question is:
What were some of your favorite picture books as a kid? If you have kids, what are your favorites to read to them?
I really liked the Dr Seuss books. The books I recall reading when I got a bit older were fairytales mostly. Oh, and I LOVED the books that came with cassette tapes (totally aging myself now). They were mostly Disney movies in book form. I could read those (and listen to the tapes) over and over.

Of course as I got older The Babysitter's Club, and the Sweet Valley Twins books were something I devoured.
I don't have children, but I do have 3 nieces and I am really excited to read Chris Colfer's Land of Stories series to them when they get a bit older.
Happy Weekend!
I didn't read too many fairy tales as a kid--more as an adult--but I was big on Dr. Seuss. Great picks! :D Old follower here.

Hopping through. I had those Disney books too. I loved the sound effects they used to make for the books.

I was taken back a bit by the cassette tape pic. I think those of us who remember them definitely got hit with the nostalgia button just now! Great choice!
