Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends.

This weeks question is:

 Are there any book to movie adaptations where you think the movie is better than the book?

I can not think of any. There are adaptations that I think are brilliant though. Perks of Being A Wallflower, the entire Harry Potter movies, for example. I don't know if any surpassed the movie for me though.

    I completely agree. There are some that have gotten close, but not surpassed IMO. New bloglovin' follower :)

    Hopping through. i don't think Perks movie is as good as the book but it's really close. Probably because Chbosky did the movie too.

    I thought the Harry Potter books were way better than the movies. I found myself disappointed after seeing each one. I never read Perks but found the movie very depressing. I had a hard time thinking of one for this week my FF. Old GFC follower.

    I definitely agree, there are some movies made from books that aren't as terrible as others, however i've yet to find one which actually surpasses the books :)

    I haven't read all the Harry Potters but I hear that they butchered the movies. :/ Most movies don't do their books justice.

    I'm the same way I don't think any movie will ever surpass the book! I still think Harry Potter was fantastically made but not as good as the books! Especially since they cut characters out!
