Monthly TBR and Wrap Up

October flew by and now it is already November. I do not know how it is possible that we are almost done with 2021, but here we are.  It is officially the holiday season and while I haven't started the holiday movies, and music just yet it will be happening very soon.

I am going to be training for pretty much all of November and December minus some vacation time I have for the holidays. Here is hoping I manage to finish all of the books I want to read by the end of the year.

Before I talk about what I hope to read in November, I have to recap October first.

The books that were on my list are:

Gilded Cage by Camilla Lackberg (goodreads)
One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid (goodreads)

Plus I had some ebooks on my list:

56 Days by Catherine Ryan Howard (goodreads)
Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi (goodreads)
Among the Beasts and Briars by Ashley Poston (goodreads)
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller (goodreads)

Here is what I managed to read in October:

The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling (goodreads)
Pretty Little Wife by Darby Kane (goodreads)
Goodnight Beautiful by Aimee Malloy (goodreads)

I only managed to read three books this month which is awful. I really need to dedicate more time to reading and I am hoping to make a big dent this month.

My #PopCultureResolution book for October was Goodnight Beautiful which I managed to read and the review will go up next week. The movie was Halloween and that is also schedule for review next week.

Here is what I hope to read in November:

Gilded Cage by Camilla Lackberg (goodreads)
One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid (goodreads)

I also have some ebooks I am hoping to get to:

56 Days by Catherine Ryan Howard (goodreads)
Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi (goodreads)
Among the Beasts and Briars by Ashley Poston (goodreads)
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller (goodreads)

My #PopCultureResolution picks for this month are The Guest List by Lucy Foley and Rope. I have already watched the movie (review to come soon) and I am excited to get my hands on the book!

Next up is an update on my two reading challenges:

November's pick for my '12 friends, 12 books' reading challenge is Give Me Your Hand by Megan Abbott so I'll be getting to that at some point this month. I am VERY behind so this month is all about catching up. I hope to read 3 books from this list.

I have decided to make this an awards free blog. I appreciate the gesture, and love that you thought of my blog, however I simply can't pass them along as required.
