Friday Blog Hops

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends. This weeks question is:

Q. Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?

Hmm...I don't know actually. Maybe the Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver. I know a lot of people went crazy over it, but I just didn't get into it at all. It was hard for me to finish.

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy-For-Books.com. It's a great way to meet new people and friends around the blogworld!

This week didn't have a question. Instead we were to promote a giveaway that another blogger was having. I decided to select Christy @ The Reader Bee's giveaway. She is currently giving away one of my favourite books - Aimee Carter's The Goddess Test. You can view (and enter) the giveaway here. The book is fantastic and Christy is awesome, so hop on by!

Happy weekend and Happy reading!

  7. I salute all the brave souls that soldier on to finish a bad book. I could never do that. I never have and I can’t imagine I ever will.

This week’s Follow Friday question is an excellent companion to last week’s Book Blogger Hop question.

Follow me back to my blog and read all about why I hardly ever start a bad book let alone finish one – http://www.howardsherman.net

Read both my Book Blogger Hop post last week and my Follow Friday post this week and you’ll get the bigger picture of how my mind works. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! [grin]

    Thank G-d It’s Follow Friday!

I haven't read The Poisonwood Bible, but I know a lot of people that love it. It just doesn't sound like my cup of tea. :/ Sorry you didn't enjoy it either!

I love comments. Thank you for stopping by my blog and thank you even more for leaving me a comment.

I have decided to make this an awards free blog. I appreciate the gesture, and love that you thought of my blog, however I simply can't pass them along as required.
