Girl Against The Universe BOOK BLAST + GIVEAWAY!

I am very excited to share details about a new book from an author whose work I really enjoy. Paula Stokes' newest sounds like a fantastic contemporary read that should be on your radar for this summer!

Paula has shared some details about Girl Against The Universe below and I am fairly certain you'll be running to add it to your TBR pile when you are done (just don't forget to enter the giveaway before you do)

Paula: Girl Against the Universe will release on May 16, 2016. I am so excited to share this book with the world, and particularly with people who are struggling with PTSD, survivor’s guilt, anxiety, shyness, or people who just feel like the odds are stacked against them. Maguire’s story is full of struggles and triumphs, new friends and family bonds. Even if your life is totally peachy at the moment, there’s a good chance you’ll find Girl Against the Universe funny and inspiring. I hope you give it a try.

Here’s what some amazing authors had to say about the book:

“Filled with equal amounts of empathy, humor, and heart, Girl Against the Universe is an empowering story about finding the courage to piece your life back together, even when it feels irreparably broken.”
--Tamara Ireland Stone, NYT bestselling author of Every Last Word

“I loved this sweet, slow-burn romance. Sports fiction at its best!”
--Miranda Kenneally, bestselling author of Catching Jordan

“Romantic, honest, and deep, Girl Against the Universe is one of those books where I couldn’t believe that the characters were only a figment of the author’s imagination—they simply jumped off the pages with their beautiful flaws and hard-earned wisdom.”
--Sarvenaz Tash, author of The Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love

"Absolute perfection. Completely magical. Girl Against the Universe is a poignant, beautiful story."  -- Ann Aguirre, NYT bestselling author of The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things

Here’s the official flap copy for the book:

Maguire is bad luck.

No matter how many charms she buys off the internet or good luck rituals she performs each morning, horrible things happen when Maguire is around. Like that time the rollercoaster jumped off its tracks. Or the time the house next door caught on fire. Or that time her brother, father, and uncle were all killed in a car crash—and Maguire walked away with barely a scratch.

It’s safest for Maguire to hide out in her room, where she can cause less damage and avoid meeting new people who she could hurt. But then she meets Jordy, an aspiring tennis star. Jordy is confident, talented, and lucky, and he’s convinced he can help Maguire break her unlucky streak. Maguire knows that the best thing she can do for Jordy is to stay away. But it turns out staying away is harder than she thought.

Just for fun, here’s my idea of the book in a single word:

His Country Bride Release Blast

Today I get to share details of a fun sounding romance novel. If you're a romance novel fan be sure to check this one out. It's releasing today so you won't have to wait to get your hands on it either!

Here is a little about His Country Bride
"Sheriff's Department! Raise your hands above your head and don't move."

She’s a runaway bride who left her two-timing fiance at the altar. He’s a county sheriff determined to keep the peace in his country and leave city girls alone after his own fiance left him for the bright lights of the city. Neither of them planned on running straight into each other...over a burning wedding dress.

Ellie and Lucas planned on never trusting their hearts to love again. When danger follows her from the city, the sheriff must do his duty to protect her. However, it isn’t long before he discovers the real danger may be to his heart. Ellie just might teach him that even a city girl can be a country girl at heart.
Sounds fun, right? I have it on good authority that it's a sweet read as well, so if you're looking for a cute romance this may be just the thing.

Here is the book trailer that was recently released if you need further convincing.

You can visit the author's website for more information, add the book to your Goodreads, and purchase it today over at Amazon.
