New To My Book Closet

It's that time of the week again. Time to show you what bookish goodies made their way into my home and book closet (to be saved from the evil book eating cat monster named Aria). This is inspired by the various "mailbox" posts out there (eg. In My Mailbox by The Story Siren, and Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Reviews).

A lovely package from my Broke and Bookish Santa arrived. The awesome Sarah from Exploring All Genres was my secret Santa and she gifted me with some amazing goodies.

She also included some chocolate, tea, and a mini Peter Pan! I am very excited to finish off Maggie Stiefvater's series (and be able to finally read Sinner) and I've heard amazing things about Pivot Point.

Secret Santa Giveaway 2.0

Tis the season! It is that time of year when everything feels all warm and fuzzy and curling up with a good book and a hot drink is heaven.

I am going to be doing my yearly giveaway, but with a twist. In the spirit of the winter blues, and making the holiday joy last as long as possible, the giveway will require some patience.

I am going to select one winner to send a surprise book (from a list they provide me). There is one catch though - it has to be a pre-order. I don't know about you but come Jan/Feb I feel a little run down. The holiday season is past, and the cold winter can feel really long. I wanted to help with this by sending you a lovely pick me up right when it's needed. :) Think of it as a delayed holiday present.

The prize also comes with another surprise (something to go along with the winter theme) and that will ship at the same time.
