New To My Book Closet

It's that time of the week again. Time to show you what bookish goodies made their way into my home and book closet (to be saved from the evil book eating cat monster named Aria). This is inspired by the various "mailbox" posts out there (eg. In My Mailbox by The Story Siren, and Stacking the Shelves by Tynga's Reviews)

I've had a few fun books make their way into my mailbox this week!

First up is one I borrowed from my friend Ciara.

Waiting On Wednesday .... Stay Sweet

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This sounds like a perfect summer read to enjoy with some ice cream. It's got female friendships, potential for romance, and a synopsis that invokes summer so easily.

I am excited to read this because it seems like it really focuses on female empowerment and love that the ice cream shop has always been owned and ran by local girls.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Funko Pops

Funko will be releasing new Buffy The Vampire Slayer Funko Pops for the 20th anniversary, and they are pretty amazing!

I am going to need the Buffy and Giles Pops! They are perfect. I was so sad that I missed all the earlier Buffy Pops but this was worth the wait.

Taylor Swift's Reputation

I have been listening to this on repeat since I picked up my copy yesterday. I am already in love with New Year's Eve, I Did Something Bad, and Dress so much.
