Roald Dahl 100th Celebration - James & the Giant Peach

We all, at some point as children, get introduced to the magic and wonder of a Roald Dahl novel. It may be through a boy and a chocolate factory, some witches, or even a giant peach. No matter how you first fall into one of his wonderful worlds, you always want to return again and again.

The 100th Birthday Celebration for Roald Dahl taking place and I will thrilled to be asked to help celebrate him and his novels.

I chose James and the Giant Peach to highlight as it was one of the first novels I read by Mr Dahl, and I can vividly recall reading it. I adore Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, like everyone, but there is something special about James and the Giant Peach for me.

The new covers are fantastic and a hard cover edition will be released!

First we have the hard cover edition that will be released. I love this cover so much!

Here is the cover for the special 100th celebration paperback that is going to be released

I am thrilled to share and excerpt from the novel below. I am pretty sure it'll make you nostolgic for the first time you read one of these classic novels, and eager to share them with someone who is only just discovering them.
