The awesome Kelly at KellyVision started posting a weekly post highlighting whatever she happened to be obsessed with that week. I LOVE this idea, so much in fact that I will be doing it myself every Saturday.
This week is going to be short and sweet! Here are my obsessions this week:
BOOKS
Cover for Dance of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin
Everyone just stop and look at the GORGEOUSNESS that is the Dance of the Red Death cover. *LOVES*. Bethany's first cover was to die for and this is just as stunning. I can't wait to get my hands on this. It's VERY high up on my "PLEASE PLEASE let me get an advance copy of this" list. I have to say, I am really liking the purple hues. Add it to Goodreads and let's start a support group to help with the wait.
TV
The Vampire Diaries season premiere
This show...it makes me feel so many things. I am so glad it's back and I hear episode 2 is even better than episode 1. The Stefan and Elena stuff was happy making and the rest of the cast was excellent as always.

Weekly Obsessions
The awesome Kelly at KellyVision started posting a weekly post highlighting whatever she happened to be obsessed with that week. I LOVE this idea, so much in fact that I will be doing it myself every Saturday.
Here are my obsessions this week:
BOOKS
Potential Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian signing
The Burn For Burn tour is coming to Canada! Three dates were released, but details are still being worked out for exact locations. I have the potential to go if they come to Montreal, and would obviously go if they come to Ottawa. I really hope to get to go as I would love signed hardcover of Burn For Burn. Such a fun read, and it totally surprised me!
TV
The Vampire Diaries season 4 promo
*SPOILERS FOR SEASON 3! AVERT YOUR EYES*
I love this show and the ending of season 3 is exactly why the word game changer exists. Everything is about to change for the residents of Mystic Falls and I am looking forward to seeing what the aftermath looks like. Also, jumpy claps for all the great Stefan/Elena stuff in this preview. #TeamStefanAlways #HeHasNotKilledJeremy
OTHER
Mara Dyer Week #2
Last year when The Unbecoming Of Mara Dyer came out I hosted a Mara Dyer week on my blog. I had a lot of fun with it, and since I am obsessed with this series (and Noah Shaw) I decided to make this year's release week extra special. I have some fantastic posts, and some AMAZING prizes in store. Get excited, and pre-order The Evolution of Mara Dyer...just trust me.
The Ontario Blogger Meet Up
The lovely bloggers behind this huge event happening in Toronto at the beginning of November have started to release some details about surprises at the event. I am beyond excited to meet some really amazing bloggers whom I have interacted with online! Getting to talk books with smart, fun, and insightful reviewers is always welcome and the event sounds like so much fun. If this were not enough they have arranged for some surprise guests to stop by the event. Expect a full recap when I get back, and until the event my excitement will be growing!

The awesome Kelly at KellyVision started posting a weekly post highlighting whatever she happened to be obsessed with that week. I LOVE this idea, so much in fact that I will be doing it myself every Saturday.
Here are my obsessions this week:
BOOK
Stacey Jay's awesome news
I may have mentioned how excited I am about fairytales. Once Upon A Time, Cinder, and other amazing retellings are bringing them back in a major way. Imagine my excitement when I read this on Stacey Jay's blog
TV
Vampire Diaries
This photo makes me all kinds of happy. I love Stefan and Elena together, and this season has been rough. This looks like a step in the right direction though and I am dying to see the episode this comes from.
Revenge
I've loved this show since the beginning, but I am swooning over this weeks episode where the adorable Daniel proposes to our devious (and slightly crazy) heroine Emily (err...Amanda). It was a sweet proposal with the rain and sweet words and all. I also LOVE Nolan. His snark is amazing. If you haven't checked out this fun, deliciously soapy show you really should!

"Stacey Jay's futuristic retelling of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, to Michelle Poploff at Delacorte, in a very nice deal, in a two-book deal, by Ginger Clark at Curtis Brown."Stacey goes on to give some more details, and this sounds awesome. I enjoyed Juliet Immortal so I am curious to see what she will do with Beauty and the Beast. She also teased us with a news of a Romeo Redeemed cover (she calls it YUMMY). VERY EXCITED!

Weekly Obsessions
The awesome Kelly at KellyVision started posting a weekly post highlighting whatever she happened to be obsessed with that week. I LOVE this idea, so much in fact that I will be doing it myself every Saturday.
I am so sick right now. It's kind of ridiculous. Here are my obsessions this week:
TV
American Horror Story
So I am WAY late to this party, but I am happy I arrived. This show is creepy, weird, and intense. I surprisingly like it a lot. I am just over halfway through the first season and I am already hoping for more.
Returning shows
With January just around the corner all my favourite shows are coming back from winter hiatus. A lot of them start this week. I am eager to get back to Mystic Falls, Chance Harbor, and Storybrooke in particular (Vampire Diaries, Secret Circle, and Once Upon A Time).
OTHER
Welcoming in 2012
We're just hours away from a new year. I am looking forward to the amazing 2012 novels coming our way! It's going to be an epic book year, and I am hopeful for an fantastic 2012 in general.
NeoCitran
As mentioned above, I am not feeling well - at all. I've been drinking NeoCitran at night to sleep and feel better. I am not sure if every country has NeoCitran but it's basically medicine in a powder form that you put into hot water. They are usually flavoured (my favourite is the apple cinnamon). They tend to make me loopy and knock me out.
Hope you're spending the last little bit of 2011 with loved ones!

My Weekly Obsessions
The awesome Kelly at KellyVison started posting a weekly post highlighting whatever she happened to be obsessed with that week. I LOVE this idea, so much in fact that I will be doing it myself every Saturday.
So this week my obsessions are:
First I must call attention to how awesome my blog looks right now. The amazingly awesome Evie from Bookish has provided me with a fantastic new look for the blog. I love it and I think it suits my blog perfectly.
BOOKS
The trailer for Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
This is a stunning book trailer. It suits the book perfectly. I've watched it too many times to count. I makes me want to pick the book up and read it again.
The entire Harper Collins summer catalog
Did you see it yet? Some of the most amazing sounding titles. We have Until I Die by Amy Plum, The Selection by Kiera Cass, Insurgent by Veronica Roth, and Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson just to name a few. There are so many hot titles coming out I am wanting to skip right past Christmas for them.
Movies
The trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman
While I am not thrilled with the choice of Kristen Stewart for this, I can't deny that this trailer is stunning. It's beautiful, yet dark at the same time. I am very excited for this movie now which I wasn't before.
TV
Plot twists and mid-season finales
I may not like having to wait until freaking January to catch back up with some of my favourite characters, but you've got to admit there is nothing like a cliff hanger! I love both Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle and both of them had an amazing ending for the holidays. I am dying to get back to Mystic Falls and Chance Harbour.
That's all for my obsessions this week. Tell me...what are you obsessed with?

Things I am Obsessed With....This Week Anyways
I decided to do a new weekly blog post. The awesome Kelly at KellyVision started posting a weekly post highlighting whatever she happened to be obsessed with that week. I LOVE this idea, so much in fact I will be doing it myself every Saturday (yes, I am aware it's Sunday today).
So this week my obsessions are:
BOOKS
Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
I just finished this book the other day. I LOVE both the Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices series and this book is Cassandra Clare's best one yet. I am so excited to talk about it when it's released!
The cover of Gilt by Katherine Longshore

Um, do you see the gorgeousness??! Seriously. Swoon. It's stunning. The synopsis takes my breath away too! I have been obsessed. So obsessed that it will become my icon sometime next week. See my WoW post for this week for more.
The UK cover of Until I Die by Amy Plum

The Die For Me cover was so pretty. This is even more stunning. I am hoping the North American cover is just as stunning and can't wait to see it.
TV
Jeremy and Anna from The Vampire Diaries

One of my favourite, if not my favourite, couples on Vampire Diaries. Anna got to visit Jeremy in this week's episode even though she died last season, and I got a little emotional. Ok, so maybe a lot emotional. They are adorable together, and I am so sad we can't keep Anna forever. Steven R McQueen and Malese Jow have amazing chemistry.
MOVIES
Character Posters for The Hunger Games movie

I am sure everyone has seen them. They are awesome. They give me hope that our beloved story will come alive on the big screen in a way that makes us happy. PEETA!! <3 The trailer for My Week With Marilyn
Michelle Williams has already given me goosebumps in this brief glimpse. Taking on an icon like Marilyn Monroe would not be easy, and Michelle totally nails it (at least in the trailer). So excited to see this one.
OTHER
Vacation
I am off for the next week from work and have been looking forward to it all week. I am going to Toronto on Nov 1 and will be there for a couple days. My friend Maria and I are going to relax, and maybe have dinner at Moroco Chocolat.
